The Nashville Chihuahua Club Dedicates Our 2020 Shows To Dick
Simon Mayfield “Dick” Dickerson He passed into eternity on Sept. 20, 2019 at 79 years of age.
Dick grew up with Chihuahuas in his family, as far back as the 1800!!Dick purchased his first Chihuahua from the Digger lines. His kennel Mayapan went on to produce 107 homebred champions to his credit.
He and his family were founding members ofthe Nashville Chihuahua Club and 3 generation members ofour parent club, Chihuahua Club Of America. Over the years Dick had also been active in various dog clubs in Tennessee. He continued to serve on the Board Of Director of Tri-Star Kennel Club until his passing.
With his outgoing personality, Dick was also the official greeter at the Chihuahua Club Of America shows. This gift of his helped make many new people feel right at home.
